About Me

The Student Building in Public

I'm **Rutvik Deore** — Social Media Manager for the AIML Department at Shreeyash College of Engineering and Technology (Polytechnic), Video Editor & Cinematographer.

Combining AIML diploma studies with CapCut video editing, cinematography, and social media growth. I create content to share the real daily creative hustle with fellow students.

The Journey

I chose AIML because I was genuinely fascinated by the idea of computers learning from data. Not the sci-fi version — the real, mathematical, beautifully logical version. When I joined Shreeyash College of Engineering and Technology (Polytechnic) for the Diploma in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, I didn't fully know what I was getting into.

The first semester was a grind — Python basics felt tedious, the statistics theory felt disconnected, and nothing quite clicked yet. But then something shifted. I built my first model that actually predicted something. It wasn't impressive. The accuracy was mediocre. But it worked, and that changed everything.

Our curriculum covers Python, statistics, supervised & unsupervised learning, neural networks basics, and data visualization — a solid foundation. What it doesn't fully cover is what to do with it in the real world. That gap is where self-learning and building become non-negotiable.

Content creation happened almost by accident. I was voice-noting an explanation of gradient descent to review later, and realized the explanation was actually pretty good. That became a YouTube video. And then another. The feedback from students across Maharashtra saying “this finally made it click for me” is what kept me going.

Teaching forces a level of understanding that just studying never requires. When you have to explain something clearly enough for someone else to grasp it, you find every gap in your own knowledge. That's made me a better student as much as a better creator.

“Teaching something forces you to truly understand it.”
